My god it was delicious! Totally crispy, with homemade tomato sauce and imported parmigiana cheese straight from Orsara di Puglia, Italy; where my dad is from. I can say that I lived with my parents for 25 years and tried many Italian dishes. But ever since his show has gone live on YouTube I've tried many more recipes that I've never known he knew before his show. I've tried some very good dishes to some very distasteful dishes. Now I don't want to discredit his distasteful dishes, because they might be delicious to some people, just not to me. For example, he made cow tongue and goat head; seriously who eats that? I don't want to say they were disgusting, it's just that I would never want to eat that and I am definitely not accustomed to it.
So as I was saying, I came home and craved a Martini. Luckily I had three more olives left; the perfect amount! I pierced three green olives with my pick and left them sitting in the Martini glass. I grabbed a few ice cubes from the freezer, dropped them into the shaker. I then poured in one shot of Extra Dry Vermouth, and then two shots of Gordon's Gin. I shook it up for about a minute and then poured it over the olives, filling the glass to the brim. It was so full, I had to take a few sips before I even had a chance to sit down and enjoy it. The first taste was very bitter and dry, just how I like it. The Gin and Vermouth marinated olives were ready to taste and they sure as hell had a small kick. It was then safe to walk upstairs to my computer to edit my dads pizza recipe. Check it out below!
